In summary, the districts in Madhya Pradesh can be classified into five clusters based on price and arrivals of agricultural commodities. The interesting fact that has emerged in this exercise is that Chhindwara is the only district in the second cluster. The fifth cluster of districts is having only trhee districts namely, Ratlam, Vidisha and Ujjain, which are all high value trading districts. In the order of value traded, second cluster of districts is next to the fifth cluster. The second cluster is further followed by the third and first cluster. In summary, one can say that policy measures can bring greater districts towards high value trading.
